First, the vanilla beans are blanched and then cured to absolute perfection in a cool, dry environment. This curing process is a labor of love, stretching over approximately six months.

During this time, the beans undergo a transformation, but reaching that coveted crystallized state is never a guarantee. It’s a bit like alchemy; everything has to align just right for those shiny, glass-like shards to appear on the pods. When it does happen, though, it's truly a sight to behold. The crystals glisten, adding an element of visual and aromatic richness that makes them highly sought after and rather rare in the market.
