I originally made my purchase to do my own vanilla extract, but these actually ended up being used in a couple of meads (honey wine) that I brew as a hobby. They greatly contributed to the aroma and flavor of each! Highly recommended.

A few years ago I saw someone advertising vanilla beans on the book of faces, it seemed like too good of a deal. The beans were reasonably priced and he had several options. So of course I browsed his page to see if he was legit and from what I could tell, he had good reviews and no complaints. I bought a small handful of beans so I could make vanilla syrup and honestly, it was one of the best random purchases I have ever made. The beans showed up vacuumed packed to keep them fresh and quicker than I expected (I wasn’t even sure if they would show up but they sure did). I’m honestly thrilled to see that he now has a website and is continuing to offer such a great deal on vanilla beans.
