Boy was I surprised! They were beautiful fat beans and the aroma was exquisite! They made the best vanilla bean paste I've ever had and I will be buying more in the near future. When I found cool beans vanilla online, I was definitely interested in. I got into baking and I was spending so much on tiny store bought ones. But not this company! As much as I paid from the store up the street, I got so much more. And they were packaged nicely to hold the freshness. I’m definitely going to continue to buy from cool beans vanilla.

The quality of the vanilla beans is phenomenal! The scent is rich and complex, there are layers in the scent I have never encountered with vanilla pastes or extracts in the past. The beans I purchased are macerating in a good quality vodka atm and I am excited to begin decanting as needed.

I homebrew and had never used real vanilla beans for my stouts. I love vanilla but the extract always seemed unnatural in my beers. I came across Mike’s beans and had some shipped. I split them open and let my newly fermented stout sit on them for a few weeks. Finally, a natural tasting vanilla for my beer. I will definitely order again!
